It's called Fido Beach, 1500 metres beach that can allow up to 48 dogs. For an entrance fee of 4€ your dog will get a very special treatment: sunbed, beach umbrella, bowl, refreshing shower, and shovel for dog poop.
This beach, that every summer is crowded to its full capacity, testify to the San Mauro's attention for dogs and pets, well allowed in many pet-friendly hotels also. Because here, in Romagna, the real holiday needs the whole family nearby.

San Mauro offers many options for spending a relaxing day both on the beach and inland. If you love hiking, shopping, or if you like poetry, these are our recommendations about things to do and to see.
The most interesting places to visit in San Mauro are: the sailing club, close to beach number 1 in Bellaria, the inland, up to Savignano Mare and the river Rubicone estuary, where a little canal divides the beach from Gatteo. This is the homeland of Casadei's Liscio ballroom dance.
Casa Pascoli (Pascoli house), in the core of the town, is a can't-miss for any poem enthusiasts, that could discover the most charming places and facts about Giovanni Pascoli. The cultural itinerary is based on two important places: Pascoli birthplace (Museo Casa Pascoli) and "the Tower" (Villa Torlonia - free guided tour).
