DESCRIPTION
The Locanda Orchidea bed and breakfast, in the historic center of Florence, resides on the first floor of a 13th century building characterized by late Mannerist style architecture. Equipped with a lift and an internal porticoed courtyard, it is perfect for both couples and families, offering among its services a free Wi-Fi network in all areas, air conditioning and an electric kettle with a selection of teas and herbal teas in all rooms.
LOCATION AND TRANSPORT
The property is located in the center of Florence, a 6-minute walk from the Cathedral of Santa Maria del Fiore and the Basilica of Santa Croce. Other sites of interest within walking distance are the Uffizi Gallery and Piazza della Signoria, 8 minutes away, Ponte Vecchio 10 minutes away and Palazzo Pitti 15 minutes away. Santa Maria Novella station can be reached in 18 minutes on foot.
