DESCRIPTION

La Maison du Sage is an elegant bed and breakfast in Florence developed between the first and second floors of a recently renovated Liberty building, a few steps from the Basilica of Santa Croce. The interiors are large and bright and furnished with elements that combine the Art Déco style with the traditional Florentine one. The reception is located on the second floor, next to small relaxation lounges and the breakfast room, while on the first floor there is a large lounge with an adjoining bar. A crystal lift connects both floors, on which the 18 rooms are distributed.

LOCATION AND TRANSPORT

La Maison Du Sage is located in Florence's Santa Croce district, next to the Basilica of Santa Croce and a 3-minute walk from Ponte delle Grazie. The central location allows visitors to reach the Ponte Vecchio, the Uffizi Gallery and the Duomo in less than 10 minutes on foot. A few steps from the structure, in Piazza di Santa Croce, there are taxi stands and bus stops, where numerous lines allow you to reach both the station and the other districts of Florence. Amerigo Vespucci airport can be reached by car in about 30 minutes.

ROOMS

The rooms, all air-conditioned, have elegant furnishings with a retro taste and are equipped with beds with orthopedic mattresses of different sizes and hypoallergenic duvets, satellite TV, safe, work desk, minibar, kettle for tea or herbal teas, Nespresso coffee machine and en suite bathroom with shower or hydromassage tub, hairdryer and toiletries. There are Deluxe accommodations with terrace or view of the Church of Santa Croce, Junior Suites with living area and sofa bed for two people, Family Suites with living room with equipped kitchen, laundry room with washer dryer and two bedrooms, for a maximum capacity of 3 people.

SERVICES

La Maison du Sage offers free concierge service, self check-in, luggage storage, safe and room service. There is a lounge bar on the first floor and relaxation areas where Italian and foreign newspapers, magazines, books and two computers are available for guests. The Tintori public garage next to the hotel offers a car pick-up and delivery service. The entire structure is covered by free Wi-Fi. The staff is available to book various activities such as cooking and local culture lessons, walking tours, shows and concerts, evenings with themed dinners.

Children: there are family rooms and suites with the possibility of requesting cots.
Sport: it is possible through the reception to make reservations for bicycle excursions and tennis courts.
Pets: small 4-legged friends (under 10 kg) are allowed with a supplement and a limit of 1 pet per room.

FOOD

The breakfast service is available every morning in the dedicated room or in the room if guests want more privacy. Sweet and savory products, with local specialties and artisan cafeteria, are served accompanied by hot and cold drinks.
