DESCRIPTION

Horto Convento di Firenze is a 4-star hotel located in a 12th-century monastery in Borgo San Frediano, a short distance from the Brancacci Chapel. Surrounded by two large and well-kept gardens, the hotel is furnished in a modern style and retains the characteristic elements of the convent such as the vaulted ceilings and original frescoes. The hotel is located in the historic district of San Frediano in Florence, a short distance from the bus stop and the streets full of shopkeepers and clubs. Pitti Palace and the Boboli Gardens are a 10-minute walk away. The Santa Maria Novella railway station is a 15-minute walk from the hotel and it is possible to reach the Ponte Vecchio and Piazza della Signoria at the same time. Florence airport can be reached in 20 minutes by car.
