The structure retains its original charm thanks to the presence of Tuscan stone and marble walls and at the same time offers a modern design environment, ideal for all types of travellers. Hotel Calimala is located in the San Giovanni district in the historic center of Florence, a short distance from the main attractions of the city: in 2 minutes on foot it is possible to reach Piazza della Signoria, in 3 minutes to reach Ponte Vecchio and in 5 minutes to Piazza del Cathedral. The property can be reached from Santa Maria Novella train station in 13 minutes on foot and from Amerigo Vespucci airport in 30 minutes by car.

The structure has 38 rooms of different types and capacities, elegantly furnished with quality materials such as stone and marble and embellished with designer furniture.
