DESCRIPTION

Pitti Palace al Ponte Vecchio is a bed and breakfast of the B&B hotels group, housed in the historic Torre Rossi dating back to the 13th century. Located a few meters from the Ponte Vecchio, it allows you to enjoy the view of the city from the panoramic terrace on the top floor. Inside it houses a lounge with TV, a restaurant on the sixth floor with an à la carte menu and bar service. The reception is open 24 hours a day and the Wi-Fi connection is free and available in all areas.

LOCATION AND TRANSPORT

The property is located in the city center of Florence, a 4-minute walk from Ponte Vecchio. Piazza della Signoria and the Uffizi Gallery are 5 minutes away crossing the bridge, the Duomo 9 minutes away and the Santa Maria Novella train station 17 minutes away. Amerigo Vespucci airport can be reached in about half an hour both by car and by public transport. The closest stop of the T2 tram, direct to the airport, is located in Piazza dell'Unità Italiana, a 13-minute walk from the B&B.

ROOMS

The recently renovated rooms are characterized by an elegant and essential decor with wooden furniture and floors. Guests have access to a flat-screen satellite TV, independent air conditioning, Wi-Fi, safe, telephone with alarm clock, minibar, machine/kettle for tea and coffee and a private bathroom with shower or bathtub, complimentary vanity set with slippers and hair dryer. In addition to the Comfort and Superior rooms, the hotel also offers Junior Suites and Suites, equipped with a separate living area with sofa bed, small balconies, large windows or a large terrace overlooking the city and the Arno. All units can be reached by lift, only one suite on the seventh floor can be accessed by walking up one flight of stairs.

SERVICES

The reception is open all day and offers a concierge service for booking guided tours and information on the city, as well as a left-luggage service. It is possible to request room service and laundry and ironing for a fee. The paid public garage is available in the area.
