DESCRIPTION
Villa Azzurra is an ancient villa from the 1800s on the eastern outskirts of Bologna, now converted into a 2-star hotel. Conveniently located near the entrance to the ring road and the trade fair, it offers a large garden and free private parking. The rooms, with a sober style, all have private bathrooms and some are designed to accommodate guests with motor disabilities. Pets are allowed with a supplement.
LOCATION AND TRANSPORT
The villa is located on the eastern outskirts of Bologna, in the Savena area, with several public parks nearby. The bus stops in front of the building and takes you to the Sant'Orsola Hospital in 15 minutes and takes you to Piazza Maggiore, the Neptune Fountain and the Basilica of San Petronio in 30 minutes. In less than 5 minutes by car you can reach the entrance to the ring road/motorway, while the Bologna fair and FICO are less than 10 minutes by car. It takes 10-15 minutes by car to the airport.
ROOMS
The rooms are characterized by a sober design, with large spaces, functional furnishings and some details in pastel colors to create a welcoming and familiar atmosphere. All are equipped with LCD TV, free Wi-Fi, air conditioning, safe and private bathroom with shower and hairdryer.
SERVICES
The hotel is surrounded by a large garden with trees where it is possible to relax in the furnished areas or to go jogging and exercise. The structure offers a private and guarded parking that does not require a reservation. The reception is open 24 hours a day with a free luggage storage service and in the hall there are vending machines for snacks and drinks. The whole structure is covered by a free Wi-Fi network.
Children: possibility of adding cots and beds in the room on request, for a fee.
Pets: pets are allowed by paying a supplement for room cleaning at the end of the stay; bowls included.
Disabled: reserved parking spaces and 2 accessible rooms available, with emergency bell, lower sink and tall toilet with grab bars.
FOOD
Breakfast is served as a buffet with packaged sweet products and can be eaten in the dedicated room or in the garden. It is possible to request foods for celiacs.
