DESCRIPTION

Antica Bologna is a family-run B&B located near Porta San Donato, a few steps from the university area of Bologna. The structure is located near the bus stop, which easily connects it to the railway station and the trade fair congress centre, and close to the Sant'Orsola hospital. It has an internal courtyard with access from the terrace, a common equipped kitchen and 3 welcoming and bright bedrooms.

LOCATION AND TRANSPORT

The B&B is located near Porta San Donato and Via Zamboni in Bologna, in a convenient position for reaching the university area on foot. In a few minutes you can get to the Sant'Egidio bus stop, in 5 minutes to the Pinacoteca Nazionale di Bologna and in 8 minutes to the Sant'Orsola-Malpighi hospital. The Montagnola park and the two towers are about 13 minutes away on foot, Piazza Maggiore 15 and the central station 20 minutes on foot or 10 by bus. To reach the Bologna Exhibition Center it takes about 10 minutes by car, while for the airport it takes 20 minutes by car or 25 with the Marconi Express shuttle, which leaves from the train station.

ROOMS

The structure has 3 well-furnished, simple and essential rooms: Iris, Girasole and Ortensia. Each room can be configured in a single, double or twin formula with the possibility of adding a third bed to satisfy every need. All are equipped with air conditioning, heating, minibar, TV and Wi-Fi connection. Two bedrooms have private external bathrooms, while the third has an internal bathroom.

SERVICES

The property is located near covered public paid parking lots. At guests' disposal there is an internal garden which can be accessed via the terrace, a kitchen equipped with appliances and common to the 3 bedrooms, a 24-hour reception, a left-luggage office, an iron and an ironing board. The laundry service is available for a fee, while Wi-Fi is free throughout the B&B.

Children : the hotel has family rooms, a free cot for babies and an extra bed on request and for a fee.
Pets : they are admitted free of charge and may have bowls for their meals.
Disabled : upper floors accessible only by stairs.

FOOD

The B&B has a kitchen equipped with utensils, a refrigerator, a microwave oven, a toaster, an electric kettle and a coffee machine with pods, where you can have breakfast. Mediterranean, continental, Anglo-Saxon or Italian breakfast includes fresh sweet and savory baked goods, scrambled eggs, bacon, bread, yoghurt, fresh seasonal fruit and much more accompanied by hot and cold drinks. Particular attention is paid to those with food intolerances, for whom specific products are provided. Room service is available. Furthermore, guests receive a discount at the Pescheria del Pavaglione in Bologna known for its tasty Apery Fish.
