LOCAL TRANSPORT
![]() Rimini District
On the one hand Romagna's Coast has a good local transport system. On the other hand the entire area - from Gabicce to Ravenna, includes 3 different districts, which stands for 3 different transport companies not interacting with each other.
Rimini's TRAM company (tram.rimini.it) provides the whole district with local transport and covers a vast area from Gabicce Mare to Bellaria - Igea Marina (view the bus network in Rimini's district). The main junction is the railway station in Rimini where Bus Line 11 starts from and covers all the coast up to Riccione and Cattolica. By night the local transport stops. For this reason the district provides the Blue Line service, a set of busses reaching every disco and nightclub in the district (view Blue Line's map). Forlì District
The public transport system is managed by ATR (atr-online.it) and based on three integrated town lines and the suburban line 94 Cesena – Cesenatico, currently strengthened in the inner district area. The town lines 1 and 2 cross Cesenatico and reach distant areas. The town line 3 and the suburban line 94 reach smaller towns outside the town centre.
Every line has a stop in Piazzale Comandini, become a main stopover where you can get off a bus and get on the one reaching your destination. Every line and bus stop areas are marked by their own distinguishing numbers and colours (view the town network in Cesenatico). ![]() Ravenna District
ATM (atm.ra.it) ATM, a transport union, manages the local transport in Ravenna district including the coast up to Cervia.
Line 176 covers the connection with Cervia, has its starting point in Piazza Caduti per la Libertà and reaches Cervia's town centre passing through Ravenna's beaches and Milano Marittima. In Summer the most frequently used lines are strengthened from June to the beginning of September. For further information view the local transport in Ravenna's coast. |
